The development of the ITVDesk application began in late 2014 with the goal of creating a universal software-based IP camera solution compatible with ONVIF and RTSP systems. Throughout 2014 and 2015, the core architecture and the initial ONVIF/RTSP modules were developed.
By the end of 2015, the application became stable enough for practical use, including screen streaming and integration with various VMS/NVR systems. After internal testing, the first public version was released in January 2016.
This marked the beginning of the continuous development of the ITVDesk platform, which has been expanding ever since.
